Product Description 10-cup Stainless Steel body with Stainless Steel Cooking bowl and Stainless Steel Steamer Tray. No non-stick coatings are used. Stainless steel cooking bowl has an Aluminum inner core for uniform heating without burning of the rice. This cooker is tailored for persons looking to cook meals without chemicals from teflon or other non-stick material leaking into their foods. This cooker also uses 3 dimensional heating (base side and lid) for keeping rice warmed evenly after cooking. This enables this rice cooker to keep the warm time past the normal 12 hour limit. The stainless steel steamer tray can steam vegetables meats and poultry.

I love this rice cooker. Its ideal for what I want. super simple and all stainless surfaces that contact the rice and cooks perfect rice. and its not as uglascious as I thought it would be. The stainless bowl is formidable. I've wanted one of these for years and couldn't be happier.
great stainless steel interior April 26, 2010 winnipeg cook (Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This is a very good rice cooker. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles (no delay in starting, no options to select white or brown rice like my last cooker had) but more importantly, it has a completely stainless-steel interior. The inside lid, steamer insert, and bowl are all stainless and so no chemicals come in contact with your food and no non-stick coating can wear off over time. It is a cool-touch model, looks nice, and cleanup actually has been very easy if you soak the bowl for a bit before washing. So I would say this is a very good choice if you are concerned about chemicals leaching from your cookware.
Love the all stainless steel February 23, 2010 Aromatherapist in Phoenix (Phoenix, AZ) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I purchased this rice cooker to replace a Krups brand rice cooker that used non-stick on the cooking pan. I have been using it for about a month now. This rice cooker works just as well as the Krups but now I don't have to worry about the chemicals leaching into my rice. It might have rice stuck to the bottom of the cooking pan when finished, but it cleans very easily by soaking it in hot, soapy water for a while. We usually soak it while we finish cooking the meal and eating. Then we will clean up or sometimes, if it is late, we will leave the pan soaking overnight and clean up the next morning. It's a breeze to clean, if you soak the pan. Also, if you let the rice set in the unopened cooker for about 10 minutes after unplugging the cooker, less rice sticks for some reason. Love this rice cooker.
Best rice results ever the first time used. December 29, 2009 Kathy (Missouri USA) 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
I got this cooker for Christmas from my daughters. They chose this one because they knew I prefer not to use nonstick coatings. I used it for the first time tonight and followed the directions exactly and got the most perfect rice. I really loved not having to time my rice to be done at the same time the rest of the dishes were. It stayed piping hot until everything was ready. I rinsed my jasmin rice thoroughly and then sprayed the stainless pot well with Pam before putting in the rice. I used the measurements it called for eventhough I was skeptical. (1 to 1) It was perfect. Afterwards at cleanup there was no sticking at all around the sides (probably alot due to the pam)and very little on the bottom. Cleanup was a breeze. It may have partly been due to perhaps a 30 minute wait for dinner and another 30 minutes during dinner that it was kept warm for only an hour total. It may have stuck some had it stayed warming alot longer but I think a 10 minute soak would have still cleaned it in any case. Bottom line, I love this rice pot and would not hesitate to buy it. The tradeoff for healthy versus nonstick was really a nonissue with a little nonstick spray.
